WSBK 2017 | Results of the third phase in Assen


Today, the third stage WSBK, which took place on the track in Assen, Netherlands. The race started on a dry track, but during the race the weather brought about changes, because of the heavy rain which began the first race was shortened to 15 laps. The second race did not bring anything better pilots passed after the start of three laps and was forced to go back to the pits. After an unscheduled break, the second race was extended, shortened to 10 laps.

In the first race of Assen Sylvain Guintoli (Aprilia Racing Team) showed a great start with a lightning break into the lead, beating the main contenders for the podium, Jonathan Ray (Pata Honda World Superbike Team), and the team duo Kawasaki Racing – Loris Base and Tom Sykes, who showed spectacular performance.
And when Tom Sykes began to steal up to the leader of the race, was vybrashen red flag, as a result of the pilot team Kawasaki took the second place, the third went to Jonathan Ray, while the fourth placed Loris Baz. Full list of the first race results, see below.

We do not get to the finish: Christian Iddon (Team Bimota Alstare), Eugene Laverty (Voltcom Crescent Suzuki), David Giuliano (Ducati Superbike Team) and Fabian Foret (Mahi Team India Kawasaki) – despite the drop could go to the start of the second day of the race .

WSBK 2017 Assen

The second race was even shorter than the first, after stopping the race to the third round due to deteriorating weather conditions and extended timeout riders again took the start. At the end of the ten laps of the second race and the winner of the third stage was Jonathan Ray, second and third place was shared by Alex Lowes (Voltcom Crescent Suzuki) and David Giuliano (Ducati Racing Team).
the first race winner Sylvain Guintoli "decomposed" on the second lap, but fortunately was able to get back into the race and finish it in the ninth position. Full list of the results of the second race, see below.
