WSBK 2017 | Results of the seventh stage on the track Misano World Circuit – Marco Simoncelli


Tom Sykes won the first race on the track Misano World Circuit – Marco Simoncelli, dominating during the whole time. Although from the start Toni Elias of the Red Devils Roma Aprilia team it was the best in the lead did not last and the circle. After Aprilia duo made a few mistakes, which took Loris Baz, making his way to his team mate. As a result, a double podium Kawasaki team.

Third place is disputed between Marco Melandri (Aprilia Racing Team) and Chaz Davies of the Ducati Superbike Team, Melandri was able to get away from Chaz and become 3rd. Chaz Davies, respectively the fourth, Sylvain Guintoli (Aprilia Racing Team) and Jonathan Ray on the fifth and sixth place.
David Salom (Kawasaki Racing Team) won the battle between the EVO-pilots, and at the finish Salom was the 11th in the list.
Alessandro Andreotstsi (Team Pedercini Kawasaki) and Alex Lowes (Voltcom Crescent Suzuki) made a fall, fortunately without injury.

In the second race on the track, and Misano World Circuit – Marco Simoncelli Tom Sykes has reaffirmed its superiority, setting the pace of the race. In second place was teammate Loris Baz Sykes, who was able to fight off Marco Melandri second position. Sylvain Guintoli (Aprilia Racing Team) finished the race in fourth place.

It was interesting to follow the four-sided duel, which was between Jonathan Ray (Pata Honda World Superbike Team), finished 5th and Toni Elias, Eugene Laverty (Voltcom Crescent Suzuki) and Alex Lowes (Voltcom Crescent Suzuki), shutting the top eight drivers .

In the battle for EVO David Salom (Kawasaki Racing Team) was again the best.

Chaz Davies of the Ducati Superbike fell in the fight for 5th position on the 5th lap. Christian Iddon (Team Bimota Alstare) caught a high-side, but, fortunately, was able to get up and leave the track alone. Leon Hezlam (Pata Honda World Superbike Team) fell in the battle for fifth place, but, in spite of the fall, was able to return to the race and finish in the 12th position.
