Start Grand Prix in Italy on the track at Mugello began not quite predictable. After starting the forward broke Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda team but after going a few turns it bypasses Jorge Lorenzo and the following Andrea Dovizioso (Monster Yamaha Tech 3). No less heated battle began between Nicky Hayden and Stefan Bradley (LCR Honda MotoGP) for the fourth position.
For Casey Stoner the start not explicitly specified, having left the start in the hard rubber shod Casey makes the mistake that cost him three positions and now he was struggling with Hector Barbera of Pramac Racing Team for the 6th place. On the same lap Michael Pirro (San Carlo Honda Gresini) was forced to leave the race due to technical reasons.
While Dovizioso and Pedrosa fought a tough fight for the second position, Lorenzo began to increase separation from their closest pursuers. Valentino Rossi fighting for seventh position, while his team-mate Nicky Hayden Ducati pursued in dense Stefan Bradley in fifth position. Going back to Rossi's worth noting that it was not the quietest race because it does not for a second did not allow him to relax Cal spending Kruchlo attack after attack for him. And looking at the position Ben Spies of Yamaha Factory Racing when his rounds of Randy de Pune, the impression that Spies just a bike problem.
During the 15-Th laps to go Stoner warmed my tires caught the tempo and beat Nicky Hayden. Bradley took a successful attempt to attack Dovizioso and walked, and at the same time does not fit into the rotation Casey takes off in the gravel at the same time was able to stay on the bike but returned to the race already in 10th place. Next, Hernandez failed and was forced to leave the race in the fall he had not received any injuries behind him and left the race Colin Edwards from the team of NGM Mobile Forward Racing, but because of technical problems.
H and the eighth lap before the end of the race Rossi continued to repel the attacks by Kruchlou. After Stoner was behind Alvaro Bautity for the last race got very bitter version, so after several attempts to circumvent Alvaro, Casey is clearly not in the spirit has gone to extreme measures, approaching on the line to cool Bautista attacked him in the first bunch of turns. Between the pilots made contact, Bautista ran into Stoner, who crawled under him in turn. Only then he retreated Alvaro, skipping ahead of Casey, who, without reducing the pace and managed to bypass Barber and crossed the finish line by showing the 8th result.
The final three laps were very busy on the attack and permutations among the pilots. Dovitsoso of laps to go bypassed already exhausted Bradley. Having decided on a last attempt to Nicky Hayden attacks appeared on the 4th place of Stephen, but after a rough block from the German Hayden nearly flew into the gravel at the same time forward missed Rossi and Kruchlou.
As a result, as already evident after the first few laps, Jorge Lorenzo crossed the finish line first followed by Dani Pedrosa and Dovizioso on the A HDPE. In the fourth place, Stefan Bradley and closes the top five Valentino Rossi behind him accompanying his entire race Cal Kruchlou, then Nicky Hayden in seventh place after a failed attack on Stefan and Casey Stoner, Barbera and Alvaro Bautista rounded out the top ten.
