Italian factory Moto Guzzi introduced two new motorcycle, developed on the basis of 850-cubic V-shaped longitudinal engine layout.
V9 Roamer – the spiritual successor to Moto Guzzi Nevada, and V9 Bobber – lightweight bobber.
We have previously talked about new models and even spy photos published, suggesting that they are developed on the basis of 744-cubic V7 II line.
Now, however, it became clear that the V9 – a new range based on the 850-bottoms (84 x 77 mm) V-type engine with air-oil cooled.
According to Moto Guzzi, the power unit produces 55 hp
at 6250 rev / min and torque of 62 Nm at 3000 rev / min.
Not to mention the displacement, the engine features a new aluminum crankcase, the new design of the pallet, a balanced crankshaft.
In addition, the valve mechanism redesigned, updated ECU control unit, installed a new exhaust system with two oxygen sensors.
As a result, the engine meets Euro 4 exhaust standard.
The engine is mated to a new 6-speed gearbox with a 179-mm single dry clutch.
On the rear wheel torque is transmitted through the propeller shaft.
Among other features we can highlight the new steel frame, 40-mm fork with a course of 130 mm, rear shock with adjustable preload, 320 mm brakes front disc with 4-piston caliper the Brembo, 260 mm Brake rear disc with two-piston caliper, anti-lock system 2-level traction control.
The model has 19-inch front wheel, 16-inch rear wheels (painted in matt black), chrome higher wheel, Seat height 775 mm.
The model is thinner seat, Seat height 770 mm, 16-inch front wheel with tires 130/90, 150/80 rear tire, shorter rear wing, as well as coloring.
