Kastomayzer Jay Lerossa from Long Beach, California, specializes in the construction of bike-style cafe racer (café racer). The basis are the motorcycles of the 2017s and 2017s, Japanese, Italian and British manufacturers. Jay's philosophy is fairly simple, it follows the tradition in the construction of their cafe racers, quickly releasing the motorcycle from spare parts. A lot of work had to be done starting from SR500 engine. the piston in the larger diameter White Brothers was replaced, to change staff valve springs and the whole "head". The carburetor of Mikuni, zero resistance filter and continuous-flow exhaust, also contributed to the increase in capacity.

The plug was used by GSX-R. Front and rear caliper Brembo, wheels from the RD400, the front wing went from Honda, and the tank from Benelli. The result of all this work was truly a classic cafe racer (café racer) Yamaha SR500.
