Cafe racer from Doc's Chops


Another cafe racer Greg Heydzhmen presented from the workshop «Doc's Chops». His first "kafeynik", as you will recall, was compiled on the basis of XV750 . At this time, the basis for Yamaha XV920 was taken.

As in the previous version, Greg used the fuel tank from the Benelli 360 in combination with its excellent single seats. Tank Painting white with applied red stripes was executed in a classical style Yamaha 80s. This is a sharp contrast to his previous work on the XV2017 , painted in black color combined with silver elements.

In the process, Greg reworked exhaust system by installing silencers SuperTrapp. Upgraded rear mono shock absorber, reducing the weight of the café racer for as much as possible. Obut this beauty in Bridgestone rubber.

After viewing photos of his two custom bikes, XV920 and XV750, not willingly comes the idea that Greg brought his own formula to create a cafe racers based on Yamaha Virago, from which obtained some interesting stories.
